Just an image of the moon, but at 3pm in April

Intent:

To demonstrate the IR effect on photographing the moon in daylight hours.

Shooting information:

ISO200 f8 1/400.

Camera:

Nikon D300 590nm IR conversion with Nikon 300mm f4 lens.

Captured around 3pm on 17 April 2024.

Editing:

Photoshop with post capture white balance adjustment do accentuate the tones. Worked with Digital Zone System (Photoshop Plugin)

Question:

Have I delivered on my intent?

Regards

Chris Harvey

Hi Colin I think it looks rather good and I think the clouds actually help, looks like its in some boiling sea! Interesting to note how the moon has developed over 24hrs!

The crescent moon should look good.

And so the journey begins!
