New PC System -

Some of you will know (as in bored to tears) that I have been having trouble trying to purchase a completley new PC System primarily for the processing of photos (Photoshop) - not gaming.

After a bad initial experience with a PC manufacturer I am looking for guidance on who to trust with specifyig a new system and where to / how to purchase.

I beleive the following may be a basis - Processor - Intel i9: System - Windows 11 64bit: RA 64MB: Graphics Card 4060 +: Internal SSD (1TB): Additonal high speed drives (SSD?): Minimum 6 core processor: 2 x max. 24" screens (including 2m long connectors and a 'Dongle Docking Station (?)': Built in connection for 4 external drives: Min 2 x USB connectors of the front panel of the casing: Speakers (Built in to Screens?):

Ta, Peter.

OK - so you want a pre-built machine, with excellent support for at least 3 years. Personally, if you can afford it, I would recommend a Dell Alienware i9 machine with their premium support+. Your spec of machine is going to be over £3k though! (you can probably ask them to disconnect the whacky lights these devices come with) Dell support is excellent. I still have an old Dell corporate laptop (which was covered by a 4 corp support deal) and the motherboard died 2 months before the warranty expired. I phoned them up, and a Dell engineer came to my home, installed a brand new motherboard on my kitchen table. In and out in 20 mins. No charge, Good luck with your purchase.
