Open Shutter The new Altered Images

Thomas my grandson's image today at Pedro's Wood.

My image, same venue, Waterboatman's shadow and ripples, R Tavy at Pedro's wood today

In order to distinguish the subgroup from the now commonly used term AI, we will now be Open Shutter which again represents the ethos of the group defined on the website.

We also will be organised slightly differently.

Trying to cultivate an extended USP from the TPC  by covering a wider horizon than traditional photography

continuing Small group targeted Photoshoots. There will be an open invitation to all within Open Shutter, and then the responsibility  of individuals to make their own arrangements via the Shared Distribution List. I have a number of opportunities arising for very small numbers so I will contact people individually.

Photoshoot venues to be suggested and volunteer to organise a range of Open Shutter days.

A return to the "editing other members images" to see what ideas come out of the woodwork that the originator not had thought of.

In order to plan and provide flexibility, ALL dates will be planned in advance BUT others to be injected as opportunities become available.

The 3rd Thursday is traditionally the date (making it able to be nominally at Peter's- Thankyou  Peter

So we need to "share the load" by arranging specific days, so the SHARED EMAIL DISTRIBUTION LIST IS ESSENTIAL from now on.

A default activity will be image discussions because it is multi interactive unlike the Competitions format.

Zooms to be utilised so that those finding it difficult to get to Peter's and events at times---      Thursday/evening/weekend sessions will share images and ideas.

Open Shutter members, because of this slightly different organisation arrangements, please email me if you do not wish to be on the declared distribution List. We need to reduce the List to future active members.

If you wish to join Open Shutter submit via Membership Secretary Steve. Everybody has to be paid up Members of TPC to be covered by Club Insurance.

For info my grandson's wasp taken with Olym OM 1 II and 90mm Macro lens, plus home-made ring flash cone for standard speedlite- not sure which editing software, sometimes he uses single shot, others in-camera stacking or external stacking software, giving even greater depth of field.
