Last night's aurora
I was alerted to possible aurora from Lancaster University's aurorawatch web site. Went up onto Whitchurch Down at about 22:00 and the aurora was just about visible, but at about 23:00 it brightened considerably, and was clearly visible to the eye.
Took this image overlooking the Pimple and Cox tor with a 2 minute exposure.
