Weather
Continuing my posting of would-be competition entries if I did so, here are my "Weather" images for comparison to tonight's entries.
My take might be a little different, in as much as I have taken an indirect look at the effects of weather.
these two images were captured from Picklecombe Fort last year. It is a converted Napoleonic defence-of-Plymouth installation overlooking the Plymouth Sound, one of many.
As often, I look for a story or symbolism during capture, or post editing to give some added interest- at least for me!

During our stay the stormy weather produced some interesting wave images!
This is part of the sea wall and underground carpark. One of many, to capture the elusive waves, processed to emphasise the atmospheric stormy early morning. A very painterly effect evolved during the post processing with which I was very pleased.

This is at the other end of the carpark/walkway/seawall and the view from our balcony. The steps lead down to a lower walkway for calmer weather and lower tide!
The waves were here breaking over the harbour sea wall. Other times, some were walking along the previously uncovered quay beyond, seemingly oblivious to the potential danger of spurious '7th waves'! I was ready with my mobile for 999s
The presence of the indicated suggested walkway gave rise to my titling of the image for those unfamiliar to the scene- "Not advisable right now"
These images personally form a record (amongst many others) of 2 visits there, which might not be repeated due to proposed changes to the hiring conditions by the 'Residents Committee'!!!!
Thanks John
Would be nice to see more images here and thoughts of the originators.
